Learning Forward Ohio (formerly the Staff Development Council of Ohio) is an affiliate of the Learning Forward (formerly the National Staff Development Council). Our goal is to promote the use of the Learning Forward Standards and the Ohio Standards for Professional Development as a vehicle for model professional development planning and implementation in the state of Ohio. Learning Forward Ohio visibly strives to achieve this goal by offering our members high quality professional learning opportunities in our continued effort to build strong partnerships and networks with other Ohio educational agencies.

 

At Learning Forward Ohio, our belief is that staff development is the cornerstone to improved student achievement. Every educator is a potential change agent, and staff development is the means to sustain improvement in student learning. Learning Forward Ohio, serving as a support system, provides our members opportunities to engage in continuous learning and join the ranks of many who actively champion student success.
