Coaches Institute Comes to Ohio!
The Learning Forward Institute for Coaches is a learning experience that helps prepare school and district coaches for their role as school-based professional learning specialists focusing on improving teaching quality and student learning. The 2012 Ohio Institute attracted 30 participants. The 2013 Columbus Institute will be facilitated by Chris Bryan and the Euclid Institute by Heather Clifton.

Heather
has served in education as a teacher, curriculum and professional development
specialist, and elementary school principal. Since 1994, she has worked in
schools and other organizations as a consultant and facilitator in various
aspects of school reform, organization development, and professional
development. She is a senior consultant for Learning
Forward, offering training for instructional coaches. Heather’s strong belief in the importance of
collaboration has influenced her efforts to assist staffs at all levels to
understand and experience the benefits of establishing a culture of trust,
collegiality and shared leadership in order to achieve improved outcomes for
students.
