John Schweitzer ’s current position as director of staff development for the Euclid City Schools follows a career that includes 20 years as a classroom teacher and 10 years as a building administrator including seven as a high school principal. John is currently a member of the National Staff Development Council as well as a graduate of the SDCO Academy for Professional Development Leadership, a professional experience he found to be incredible. John finds the Professional Development aspect of education to be very compelling and is excited about the role SDCO can play in helping move teachers and student achievement forward in Ohio.
